Approaching Leafbare

Morning sunlight beamed through the small cracks in Jadestar's den. She slowly began to get up, even though she wanted terribly to sleep a little longer. The air in the den was cold, just reminding Jadestar that another leafbare was on its way. Prey was becoming short, the leaves on the trees had already fallen, and soon the medicine cat would be busily going to and fro, treating to other cats' sicknesses.
I hope Hawkheart has all the herbs she needs. Jadestar hoped, a shortage on herbs was the last thing the clan needed.

Jadestar sat at the entrance to her den looking out at the frost covered clearing. The previous night had been very cold, leaving the LightningClan cats in a bad mood. There was very little activity in the ravine, for it was quite early and not all the cats had woken up yet. Jadestar saw her deputy, Sapphirefur walk across the clearing, her blue streaked pelt glimmering in the pale rising sun.
"Sapphirefur!" Jadestar called.
Sapphirefur immediatly turned around and bonded up to her leader.
"Yes, Jadestar?" She mewed.
"Would you organize a morning patrol for me? I would really appreciate it."
"Sure thing, Jadestar!" Sapphirefur nodded respectfully, and then ran off.

Hawkheart padded past jadestar and mumbled something under her breath. She had not been in a good mood today and she needed to collect more herbs for leafbare. She sprinted through the clearing and found some herbs in a bush she bundled them up and sprinted back angerly and placed them in her den. She grunted and sat down with a hisss and said " great starclan im glad thats over!"

"Hello, Hawkheart, how are you doing?" Jadestar asked poilitly to the medicine cat.

hawkheart peplied as nicely as she could a said " I'm doing alright..."

"Well thats good to here." Jadestar was relieved. Maybe leafbare wouldn't be as bad as she suspected.
